Part 4. Rock climbing place
1 Scope
This Part of GB 19079 specifies the basic conditions and basic technical
requirements that shall be possessed by rocking climbing place. This Part
applies to all types of rock climbing places that are opened to society.
2 Normative references
The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard
through reference in this Standard. For dated references, the subsequent
amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this
Standard, however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard
are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are
applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced
document applies.

3.1 rock climbing place
6 Health, environmental management requirements
6.1 Artificial rock shall comply with the requirements of GB 6566.
6.2 Environmental Health at rock climbing place shall comply with the
requirements of GB 9668.
6.3 Indoor air at rock climbing place shall comply with the requirements of
GB/T 17093 and GB/T 18883-2002.
7 Safety protection
7.1 There are "Rock climbing personnel must know" and safety warning at
prominent position.
7.2 During operation, each operating climbing channel shall be equipped with
a climbing technical guidance staff.
7.3 There are sound facilities, equipment and safety inspection system.
Damaged equipment shall be replaced in time.
7.4 Emergency drugs and equipment shall be placed in an obvious location
for easy access.
7.5 Various staffs who are on duty shall have obvious identity.
7.6 There are sound public security, safety and rescue, equipment
maintenance system, and personal responsibility of staff services.
