Foreword
The entire technical content of this standard is mandatory.
This standard is equivalent to using IEC 60799.1998 "Electrical Accessories Wire Assembly and Interconnect Wire Assembly" (Second Edition).
This standard is a revision of GB 15934-1996.
The main differences between this standard and GB 15934-1996 are as follows.
a) The standard name changed from "Wire Assembly" to "Electrical Accessories Wire Assembly and Interconnect Wire Assembly". Interconnection wires were added to the standard.
Component requirements.
b) Added "Interconnect Wire Components" to the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1).
c) This standard adds Chapter 2 "Normative References", which has one more chapter in structure than GB 15934-1996.
d) Added definitions of interconnected wire assemblies, type tests, and routine tests (see 3.2, 3.3, 3.4).
e) Increased requirements for type testing and routine testing (see Chapter 4).
f) Increased requirements for plug connectors in interconnected wire assemblies (see 5.1).
g) Increased connector and plug connector requirements for interconnected wire assemblies (see 5.2.1).
h) Add Chapter 7, "EMC Requirements."

This standard does not apply to industrial wire assemblies (that is, with plugs and connectors that meet the requirements of GB/T 11918, GB/T 11919).

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Consists of a soft cable or cord with a non-rewirable plug and a non-releasable connector for electrical appliances

4 General requirements
The design and construction of the wire assembly and interconnect wire assembly should ensure that the wire assembly and interconnected wire assembly perform reliably during normal use.
And there is no danger to the user and the surrounding environment.

The test is as follows.
--- Perform a type test on a representative sample of each wire assembly and interconnect wire assembly;

5 requirements
5.1 Requirements for Components
The plug of the wire assembly should meet the requirements of GB 2099.1.
The connector of the wire assembly should meet the requirements of GB 17465.1.
Plug connectors for interconnecting wire assemblies shall comply with the requirements of GB 17465.2.
Wires of wire assemblies or interconnected wire assemblies shall meet the requirements of GB 5023 or GB 5013.
Check whether the plugs, connectors, plug connectors, and wires meet the requirements by the tests specified in the corresponding standards. One part is

5.2.3 Classification of Equipment
The classification of the electric shock protection capability of plugs and connectors shall be the same as the classification of the electric shock protection capability of the equipment to be connected, and the equipment shall be protected against electric shock.
The classification criteria are given in IEC 60536.1976.
However, wire assemblies fitted with connectors for Class II equipment may be fitted with GB 1002 compliant plugs or breaks for Class I equipment.

5.2.4 Flags
Plugs, connectors, and plug connectors shall be marked with their markings in accordance with the requirements of the corresponding standard.

5.2.5 Types of wires
The wire type of the wire assembly or interconnect wire assembly should not be less than that determined by the connector of the wire assembly or interconnecting wire assembly
