incense
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements,
test methods, markings, packaging, transportation, storage of burnable incense
products.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Odor type
It is used to describe the overall aroma type in burnable incense products,
such as sandalwood, jasmine, rose, etc.
e) Specification and quantity;
f) Inspection conformity mark;
g) Precautions and warning words, such as: "Be careful after lighting."
8.1.2 The product packaging box shall have the following Chinese signs:
a) Product name;
b) The name and address of manufacturer;
c) Specification and quantity;
d) Pictorial signs for storage and transportation.
8.1.3 The pictorial signs for, packaging, transportation, storage shall meet the
requirements of GB/T 191.
8.2 Packaging
The packaging shall be firm, free from damage, squeezing and moisture proof.
8.3 Transportation
The product shall be protected from rain and snow, during transportation. When
handling, please load and unload with care; don't press it heavily.
8.4 Storage
The product is stored in a ventilated and dry place; kept away from fire sources
during storage; the distance between the stacking position and the ground and
the wall is not less than 20 cm.
A.3.1 Temperature: (23 ?? 5) ??C.
A.3.2 Relative humidity: (65 ?? 15)%.
A.4 Test procedure
A.4.1 Sample test
Place the sample to be tested and the filter paper in a drier, for 4 hours. Start
the test (it needs removing the exposed bamboo part from the bamboo incense).
Use an analytical balance to weigh the filter paper, as m1 (accurate to 0.1 mg).
Fix it on the sampling head. The sampling head is installed at the center of the
upper cover of the smoke collection tube. Cut 0.6 g from the sample to be tested,
accurate to 0.1 mg. Weigh its mass m, as the sample to be tested. It can be cut
into multiple segments as needed, BUT it must be ignited at the same time.
Adjust the sampling gas flowmeter to 5 L/min. Ignite the sample to be tested.
Immediately put it in the smoke collection tube. Place it at the center of the
bottom of the tube. Align it with the sampling head. The distance between the
sampling filter paper and the sample to be tested is 10 cm. After the test sample
is burned out, remove the filter paper. Put it in the drier. After 1 h, use an
analytical balance to weigh its mass, as m2 (accurate to 0.1 mg). Record the
time from ignition to burnout, as t.
A.4.2 Blank test
Take a piece of filter paper. Use an analytical balance, to weigh its mass, as m3
(accurate to 0.1 mg). Fix the filter paper on the sampling head. Install the
sampling head, at the center of the upper cover of the smoke collection tube.
Adjust the flowmeter to 5 L/min; the collection time is t (A.4.1). After collection,
remove the filter paper. Put it in a drier. After 1 hour, use an analytical balance
to weigh its mass, as m4 (accurate to 0.1 mg).
A.5 Calculation
The amount of soot of the tested sample is calculated, according to formula
(A.1):
Where:
X - The amount of soot, in milligrams per gram (mg/g);
m1 - The mass of the filter paper, before sampling, for the sample test, in
grams (g);
