Acceptance Specification for Indoor LED Display Screen
Multimedia System
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the requirements, acceptance process, acceptance inspection
conditions, acceptance inspection methods and acceptance rules for indoor light-emitting
diode (LED) display screens (hereinafter referred to as “LED display screens”) and LED
display multimedia systems (hereinafter referred to as “display systems”).
This Standard is applicable to the design, procurement, construction and acceptance of LED
display screens and display systems.
2 Normative References
The following documents are indispensable to the application of this document. In terms of
references with a specified date, only versions with a specified date are applicable to this
document. In terms of references without a specified date, the latest version (including all
the modifications) is applicable to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in SJ/T 11141-2012 and the following ones are applicable
to this document.
3.1 LED Display Unit
LED Display Assembly
Display Assembly
An independent device consisting of several display modules, control circuits, power
converters and corresponding structural parts.
3.2 Pixel Pitch
Pixel Pitch
The distance between the center points of two adjacent pixels on an LED display screen.
3.3 LED Display Screen
A device spliced with one or more LED display units that displays text, images, videos and
other information.
3.4 Splicing Processor
A digital processing device that divides a complete picture or image signal into several areas,
assigns them to corresponding display units according to a certain logical relationship, and
controls the display screen to display the pictures or images required by the user.
3.5 LED Display Multimedia System
A display system consisting of an LED display screen and a splicing processor.
3.6 Open Window
Window
Display specified information in a specified area within the display range of the LED display
screen.
3.7 Window Superpose
Two or more windows overlap in the display section.
3.8 Desktop
A computer graphics display interface used in a display system with a resolution that
matches the LED display screen.
3.9 Roaming
The window can be moved to any position on the LED display screen.
3.10 Physical Gap
The gap between the edges of adjacent display units in the LED display screen.
a) Continuous operating time. The display system shall be able to ensure trouble-free
operation for no less than 7×24 h;
b) The display system can operate normally after startup or restart;
c) During the operation of the display system with redundant design, if one of the
modules fails, the corresponding redundant module can operate normally and the
system remains in normal operation.
5 Acceptance Process
The acceptance shall meet the following requirements.
a) The acceptance process of the display system shall be carried out according to
Figure 1;
b) After the display system is constructed, it shall be put into trial operation, and the
trial operation time shall be agreed upon by both parties;
c) After the trial operation, the construction organization shall conduct self-inspection;
after the self-inspection is qualified, the construction organization shall submit an
application report for project completion acceptance to the construction
organization;
d) The acceptance shall be carried out by the acceptance team organized by the
construction organization, and the acceptance team members shall formulate an
acceptance protocol before the acceptance;
e) The acceptance content includes the following. data inspection, display system
configuration inspection, engineering inspection, functional performance
acceptance, acceptance review, acceptance filing and handover;
f) For display systems that fail the acceptance, the acceptance team shall clearly
record it in the acceptance conclusion, and the construction organization shall
submit an acceptance application again after rectification;
g) After the acceptance review is passed, filing and handover shall be carried out.
--- Ambient light. When conducting visual observation, it shall be carried out under the
ambient light conditions on site. The ambient light can be fully turned on or off or
partially turned on as needed. When using optical measuring instruments for
measurement, the ambient light illumination shall not exceed 10 lx.
6.2 Acceptance Conditions
The requirements for acceptance conditions are as follows.
--- Visual distance. If the space of the acceptance site is 3 to 4 times greater than the
screen height, human eye observation shall be performed at 4 times the distance; if
this condition is not met, the maximum distance on site shall be used as the
observation distance;
--- Acceptance status. The display system shall be turned on and run, and acceptance
shall be carried out after normal continuous operation for 30 min.
6.3 Optical Measuring Instruments
Optical measuring instruments used for on-site acceptance should preferably be contact
instruments.
7 Acceptance Inspection Methods
7.1 Technical Document Inspection
The contents of technical document inspection are as follows.
a) Technical documents include third-party test reports, user manuals, operation
manuals, management and maintenance manuals, parameter configuration
documents for installation and commissioning, and project completion acceptance
documents;
b) Check the completeness and correctness of the accompanying documents and
materials provided by the manufacturer, including the packing list and other
materials.
7.2 Configuration Inspection
Check the model, specification, quantity, appearance and label of each equipment.
7.3 Engineering Inspection
7.3.1 Structure
The structural requirements are as follows.
a) The appearance of the structure shall be free of serious scratches, color difference,
coating shedding, etc.;
b) The connecting bolts of the structure shall be firm;
c) The connection between the structure and the anchors, and between the wall
fixtures shall be firm.
7.3.2 Screen
The requirements for the screen are as follows.
a) The appearance of the screen shall be neat, and the surface shall not have defects
such as bumps, scratches, cracks, burrs, mildew spots, etc.; the surface coating
shall be free of blistering, cracking, or shedding;
b) Metal parts shall not have rust or other mechanical damage, and the perfusion
matter shall not overflow;
c) The operation of switches, buttons and knobs shall be flexible and reliable, and the
parts shall be tight and not loose;
d) There shall be no obvious installation gaps, and the whole shall have sufficient
mechanical stability;
e) The text and graphic symbols that describe the function shall be correct, clear,
upright and firm, and the indication shall be correct;
f) The screen shall have no obvious light leakage.
7.3.3 Cable laying requirements
7.3.3.1 General requirements
The general requirements for cable laying are as follows.
a) Cable laying shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 50311-2007 and GB
50312-2007;
b) Cables shall be laid straight without twisting, crossing, or looping;
c) The laid cables shall be intact, with no damage to the outer skin, and labels shall be
affixed to both ends of the cables; the labels shall be correct, complete and clear;
d) Signal cables, video cables, power cables, and mouse and keyboard extension
cables shall be firmly connected and beautiful.
7.3.3.2 Requirements for indoor cable laying
The laying of indoor cables shall comply with the following provisions.
a) The clearance between signal lines and electrical equipment with strong magnetic
and electric fields shall comply with the following provisions.
1) When non-shielded cables are laid through metal protective pipes or in closed
metal cable ducts, the length shall be 0.8 m; when laid directly, it shall be
greater than 1.5 m;
2) The length of shielded cables shall be greater than 0.8 m.
b) When laying cables, the minimum bending radius of multi-core cables shall be
greater than 6 times their outer diameter; the minimum bending radius of coaxial
cables shall be greater than 15 times their outer diameter; the minimum bending
radius of optical cables shall be greater than 20 times their outer diameter.
c) The cross-sectional utilization rate of cable ducts shall not be greater than 50%; the
cross-sectional utilization rate of cables laid through pipes shall not be greater than
40%.
d) When laying cables along brackets or in cable ducts, the following provisions shall
be met.
1) When the cables are arranged vertically or the slope exceeds 45º, the cables
shall be firmly fixed on each bracket;
2) When the cables are arranged horizontally or the slope does not exceed 45º,
the cables shall be firmly fixed every 1 to 2 brackets;
3) The cables shall be firmly fixed 150 mm to 300 mm before the introduction of
the junction box and the distribution box.
e) Junction boxes or pull boxes shall be installed in the following situations, and the
installation position shall be convenient for threading.
1) For non-curved pipelines, when the pipeline length exceeds 30 m, one shall be
installed every 30 m;
2) There is one turn between two cable pulling points and the length of the
pipeline does not exceed 20 m;
3) There are two turns between two cable pulling points and the length of the
pipeline does not exceed 15 m;
4) There are three turns between two cable pulling points, and the length of the
pipeline does not exceed 8 m.
f) Fixed cable clamps shall be installed at the turns of the pipeline or every 1.5 m in
the straight line distance.
g) For vertically laid conduits, a junction box for fixing the cables shall be installed
every 10 m according to the size of the cross-sectional area of the conductors
inserted, and the conductors shall be fixed in the box with insulated cable clamps.
7.4 Interface Inspection
Use visual method to check.
7.5 Support Signal Format Inspection
Input the video signal or computer signal into the display system, and the system shall be
able to display normally.
7.6 Functional Inspection
7.6.1 Open window, window scaling, window superpose, full screen display signal
roaming, full screen display, desktop output
Perform corresponding operations through the control software. The LED display screen
shall display operations or signals such as open window, window scaling, window superpose,
full screen signal roaming, full screen display and desktop output.
7.6.2 Full screen synchronization
The LED display screen plays the motion image on the full screen. Observe the motion
image screen, the screen shall be coherent, without freezing, frame loss, frame
asynchronization, etc.
7.6.3 Computer display function and graphic display function
Send computer signals and graphic signals to the LED display screen, and observe that the
corresponding screen or image shall be displayed on the screen.
7.6.4 Signal input
Send the video signal of the corresponding format (VIDEO, RGB, IP video, etc.) to the
display system, and observe that the LED display screen shall display the corresponding
screen or image.
7.6.5 Color temperature selection
Select the corresponding color temperature through the corresponding control software, and
observe that the color temperature of the LED display screen shall change accordingly. If
necessary, the color temperature can be measured with a measuring instrument.
7.6.6 Real-time monitoring
The information of the main components of the display system can be called up through the
corresponding control software, and the monitored data and information shall be able to be
